- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary occupational health team, including:
- Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP/FNP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
- Gain firsthand exposure to industrial operations through time spent in both the clinic and shipyard environments.
- Participate on a comprehensive Ergonomics Team, working alongside union and company employees to identify injury prevention opportunities and improve workplace safety.
- Help employees recover, return to work safely, and maintain their long-term health and function.
Why You'll Love This Role
- One-of-a-kind practice setting within a world-class shipbuilding operation
- Work with a highly skilled and motivated workforce
- Interdisciplinary team approach to occupational healthcare
- Exposure to ergonomics, injury prevention, and industrial medicine
- No weekends
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work four 10-hour shifts
- Relocation assistance available
- Opportunity to make a measurable impact on employee health, safety, and productivity
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Physical Therapist license (or eligible for licensure)
- Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment skills
- Interest in occupational health, ergonomics, and industrial rehabilitation preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
