Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver (Class E)

Penmac Staffing is hiring a dependable Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver (Class E) for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in the Eldon area. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with local delivery routes, offering consistent hours, daily home time, and regular customer interaction. Requirements for the Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver (Class E)

Valid Class E driver’s license
Forklift experience required; previous warehouse experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (rare; most items are lighter)
Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
Verify packing slips and maintain accurate inventory records
Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
Use RF scanners or inventory systems to track materials
Organize stock and assist with inventory counts
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

Load and prepare delivery vehicle each morning
Drive a Sprinter van on local routes; occasional box truck use (1–2 times monthly)
Deliver products throughout Eldon and surrounding areas
Provide friendly customer service and obtain delivery signatures
Maintain accurate delivery records and follow safe driving practices
Return home daily with no overnight travel

Work Schedule and Pay

Full-time, temp-to-hire
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (some flexibility)
$18 per hour
