Canine Care Assistant

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves dogs, enjoys staying active, and wants to be part of a team that values passion, compassion, respect, and integrity. Prior professional dog experience is not required — we will train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to providing safe, thoughtful care.

As a Canine Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping us provide a safe, enriching, and positive experience for the dogs in our care. Your daily responsibilities may include:

• Supervising and engaging with dogs during playtime
• Monitoring dog behavior and identifying signs of stress, discomfort, or unsafe play
• Supporting enrichment activities and positive reinforcement-based care
• Feeding dogs and following individual care instructions
• Cleaning play areas, kennels, dishes, laundry, and facility spaces
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Providing exceptional care and attention to each dog
• Supporting your team and creating a great experience for both dogs and their owners

We don’t require prior experience — just a genuine love for dogs and a willingness to learn. Ideal candidates will have:

• A passion for working with animals
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude
• The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
• Comfort with cleaning and physical work
• The stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the day
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• A positive attitude and willingness to grow
