Industrial Maintenance & Electrical Technician– Manpower

Our client, a leading supplier of flooring underlayment and carpet cushions, is hiring Maintenance Technicians to join their team. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, emergency /breakdowns maintenance as well as following all safety rules, policies and practices. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an industrial setting, mechanical and electrical abilities along with a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title:                          Industrial Maintenance & Electrical Technician
Location:                          Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Pay Rate Range:              $27-$31/hr DOE
Shift:                                  M-Th 2:30am – 10:30am and Friday 7:30-4:00pm


What’s the Job?

• Repairing industrial equipment that includes replacing a variety of parts for pumping equipment.
• Analyzing equipment and machinery malfunctions, determining the appropriate procedure and performing repairs.
• Installing, troubleshooting and maintaining machinery and electrical systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance functions.
• Performing plant start up and shut down procedures.

• High school Diploma or GED is required.  Additional training and education is desired.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with 480/ three phase and electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to use, interpretation and development of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings
• Installation and maintenance of electronic devices including flow meters, encoders, servo motors, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
