Maintenance Mechanic - Now Hiring

Our client, an industrial property management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting property maintenance and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Negaunee, MI

Pay Range:  $18 - $25 per Hour

Shift: M-F 7AM-3PM with overtime available at times

What's the Job?

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of work performed for future reference and compliance
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, plow trucks, and forklifts
• Assist with seasonal snow removal and other additional tasks as needed

What's Needed?

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and carpentry issues
• Experience with equipment maintenance including small engines and industrial tools
• Strong organizational skills for charting and documenting work
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
