Our client, Education and Vocational Training provider is seeking a High School Diploma Instructor to join their team. As a High School Diploma Instructor, you will be part of the Educational Support team supporting young adults in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have dedication, adaptability, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: High School Diploma Instructor

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Range: $30

Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Design and develop curriculum materials, lesson plans, and learning activities aligned with state educational standards for high school subjects.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
• Create and administer assessments to evaluate participant understanding, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify individual learning needs and offer personalized support to help participants succeed academically.
• Maintain a structured classroom environment, ensuring safety, discipline, and adherence to program policies.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Teaching, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• New York State Teaching Certification in the appropriate subject area(s).
• Proven experience in teaching high school-level subjects, preferably in alternative or adult education settings.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate diverse groups of learners.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
