We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for structural carpentry work on residential and commercial projects, including framing walls, floors, roofs, and building layouts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in fast-paced construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform carpentry work for residential and commercial construction projects
  • Build and install wall framing, floor systems, roof trusses, and structural supports
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal framing materials
  • Install subfloors, sheathing, blocking, and temporary structures
  • Set concrete forms and assist with layout and site preparation
  • Ensure framing is level, square, and built to code specifications
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, nail guns, and other construction equipment safely
  • Work closely with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of rough carpentry or framing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial framing methods
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
  • Experience using construction tools and equipment safely
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
  • OSHA certification is a plus
