Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 1 Year
• Weekly Pay: $2500 to $2700

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate CT scanners and optimize imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Review completed scans for quality and accuracy before submitting them for interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines
• Educate patients on CT procedures and address questions or concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and report maintenance issues as needed
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active New York Radiologic Technologist License, if required by state regulations
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety practices
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
