Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

Location

San Francisco, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating 12-Hour Day and Night Shifts (3x12) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting within a float pool capacity, covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU as assigned
• Float to various departments and facilities as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac and critical care devices including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Rotate between day and night shifts across scheduling cycles based on departmental need

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Documented hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
