Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated telemetry unit
• Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and emergency care settings to support patient holds
• Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Document patient information and care activities using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
