Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Third Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Medical ICU setting, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional extension to 1:3
• Manage and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips including vasopressors and sedation agentsCare for patients with complex diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, MI, DKA, PE, STEMI, and atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response
• Monitor and verify telemetry strips in coordination with centralized monitor technicians using Draeger monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with in-house hospitalists and tele-medicine intensivists to support patient care during night hours
• Float to lower levels of care including PCU and Med-Surg as needed; unit-specific orientation and training provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Hands-on ICU experience including management of drips, mechanical ventilators, and BiPAP
• Ability to read and verify cardiac monitor strips
• Must pass an open-book skills assessment with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required as a condition of contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
