Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Des Moines, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float between Des Moines and West Des Moines locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Ability to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Willingness and ability to float between Des Moines and West Des Moines facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Prior experience in a float or multi-site nursing role
