Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Abilene, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Float to other floors or a secondary campus as needed based on staffing requirements
• Complete required onboarding modules during orientation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or equivalent service line
• Must reside 150 or more miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera electronic charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience
