Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), Rotating Every 2 Weeks | Every Other Weekend Required | 72 Hours Guaranteed Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Emergency Department serving a large metropolitan area
• Assess, triage, and manage acutely injured or ill patients across a broad spectrum of emergency and trauma presentations
• Utilize electronic medical record systems for provider order entry and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver rapid, sophisticated emergency and trauma care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development within a teaching hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (or active Massachusetts temporary license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current CPR (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• EMR experience required; basic computer navigation and web-based application skills required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
