Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a 34-bed unit with a day-shift ratio of 1:4–6
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, assess changes in patient acuity, and escalate appropriately to the Charge RN, Rapid Response, or Provider
• Perform and oversee unit procedures including IV fluids, IV antibiotics, tube feedings, and PEG feedings
• Attend shift huddles at the start of each shift and adhere to all unit scheduling and timekeeping policies
• Collaborate with CNAs, HUCs, and fellow RNs to support a team-oriented care environment
• Float to other medical-surgical units or the ED holding pod as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Demonstrated telemetry rhythm interpretation capabilities
• Current BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a trauma or telemetry setting
• Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment
