Machine Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, a manufacturing/industrial production company, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Assembly and Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a teamwork-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: East Moline
Pay Range: $17.50-20.00

What’s the Job?

• Assemble and disassemble various types of foam fixtures
• Operate foaming, undercoating, and bead blasting equipment
• Operate manual lathes, CNC mills, Bridgeports
• Ability to work from blueprints and schematics
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively
• Stand, bend, and move materials or equipment between stations
• Work in conditions involving heavy lifting and use of machinery

What’s Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of standing, bending, twisting, and kneeling for extended periods
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for long hours
• Commitment to working consistently and safely
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or on a team
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to train on additional equipment (forklifts, hoists, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Ability to understand and complete departmental paperwork
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
