Mockup and Color Manager (Hybrid) - Now Hiring

Location: Summit, New JerseyJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 60 per hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Mockup and Color Manager to own the end-to-end color matching and physical mockup process across all Skin Health brands. This role serves as the central point of contact for defining color targets, approving supplier color, and creating physical mockups for design reviews. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, loves working with their hands to build physical packaging samples and thrives in a collaborative environment. By taking ownership of mockups and color approvals, this position ensures brand cohesion across all packaging platforms and frees up senior design staff. Responsibilities:Process Ownership: Own the end-to-end color matching process across all Skin Health brands. Color Management: Define color targets, brief packaging partners, and approve final colors delivered by suppliers to ensure cohesion across all product lines.Mockup Creation: Build physical packaging mockups for small shelf reviews, taking a highly hands-on approach to the design evaluation process.File Manipulation: Utilize Adobe Illustrator to adjust and prep artwork files specifically for mockup creation and color profiling.Substrate Expertise: Manage color consistency across a wide scale of packaging formats and complex materials.Project Coordination: Receive, organize, and track all color match packages, samples, and standards using a master tracking system.Supplier & Team Collaboration: Coordinate directly with suppliers to manage timelines , and partner with internal teams to facilitate in-office color match reviews.Operations: Handle administrative logistics, including shipping, tracking incoming/outgoing packages, and maintaining project documentation.Requirements:3+ years of experience in end-to-end color matching, prepress, or print execution.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, specifically with the ability to adjust and manipulate packaging artwork files for mockups.Must enjoy being hands-on and enjoy building physical thingsA keen eye for color accuracy and enthusiasm for the beauty sector.Understanding of how colors reproduce across different packaging substratesExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Location & Schedule: Must be available to work on-site in the Summit, NJ 2-3 days per week to support physical mockup building and tactile color approvals.JOBID: 072026-138547#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
