Mold maker / welder -Job shop/ machine shop type environment

We work on Molds for the Plastic Industry. Specifically vacuum and thermorforming molds. We work with aluminum, wood and polyboards to make tooling. All of our molds are one of a kind. So we don't produce 1000 parts of the same thing over and over. We see all types of molds for different industries like Aerospace, Automotive, Shipping trays , and display trays. We are seeking a Mold Maker- Job Shop- Machine Shop to join our team! You will be in the shop learning multiple skills:

If you are lacking skills, we are willing to teach if you want to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools - Hand drills, Air grinders, and other air tools to work on the molds
• You will learn to solder copper to copper and copper to stainless steel
• All Variety of Machine shop work like: drilling and tapping holes,sandblasting, welding, fabrication of molds etc.
• Manual machining on molds and using different types of Job Shop equipment
• We have manual mills, band saws cnc machines welders, grinders and other types of Job shop equipment
• Welding experience is a plus but not required

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Familiarity machine tools and equipment
• A willingness to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail
