Job Overview

We are searching for an applicant who has prior experience in Turf Management to help maintain and

promote healthy turf through chemical and fertilizer applications. Must have knowledge of Bermuda

and Fescue Turf types, as well as Ornamental Plant Health Care.

This position will monitor and apply appropriate treatment to turf areas/Landscapes on commercial

properties (including HOA’s, High-end apartment complexes, and Retail centers) to include granular

and liquid fertilizer applications, Chemical applications to include herbicide, fungicide,

insecticide, and calibration of Spreader and Z-spray Equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand label instructions, application rates/mixing, and safety

procedures of mixing and applying chemicals.

• Correctly identify pests and diseases on turf and ornamental plants, and knowledge of

appropriate treatment.

• Keep documentation of applications made on Properties.

• Note any other pest/disease issues on properties that were not initial cause of property

visit.

Minimum Requirements

• Have a valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.

• NC/SC Pesticide License (strongly preferred).

• 1 year minimum experience in applying liquid and granular herbicides, fertilizers, fungicides,

insecticides, and organic supplements.

• Lift 50-90 lbs.

• Work outside for extended durations in various degrees of temperatures including extreme heat

and cold.

• Experience driving Cab Over trucks and truck and trailers.

Job Type: Full time

• Overtime paid over 40 hours Pay: $20-22/hour

Benefits: 40 hours paid time off after 1 year of Employment. Holiday pay after 30 days of

Employment.
