CNC MACHINIST

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC mill and lathe machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of shop math and machining practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to machine precision metal parts.
• Load programs, set tooling, and adjust offsets to ensure proper machine operation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Make machine adjustments and minor program edits as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain machines, tooling, and work area in a safe and organized condition.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing goals.
