Ministerial/Administrative Assistant
Unity of Bellingham; a spiritual community
Bellingham, WA – in person
Part Time: 16-20 hrs. per week
Pay:  $20 hourly

Position Summary:
We are seeking a versatile, self-motivated, and highly organized part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Ministerial Leadership Teams and day-to-day operations.  This role combines administrative duties, professional task management, and creative problem solving.  Additionally, this position requires a proactive person who is detail oriented, and comfortable performing multiple responsibilities, which include: calendar scheduling, correspondence support, clerical tasks, and light social media/analytics input.  If you are organized, adaptable, and have a desire to support a mission driven team, we look forward to hearing from you.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day administrative support for our Ministry Teams
* Schedule classes, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics
* Maintain organized files, records, and member contact lists
* Handle preventive maintenance requests to ensure timely building upkeep
* Perform routine property inspections to maintain safety and compliance
* Coordinate rental usage of facility, including scheduling, agreement negotiation, and fee collection
* Develop bulletins, and music sheets for Sunday services
* Support and maintain accurate donor records in databases for the bookkeeper
* Accuracy with money counting for bank deposit
* Create and schedule email marketing campaigns and communications through social media platforms,      i.e.: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others
* Enter and manage content for website updates and basic content changes
* Assist with managing registration lists, and even material logistics

 Qualifications:
* 2-5 years administrative experience preferred
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google tools, Adobe, Zoom and cloud-based software
* Experience with databases, CRM, CHMS systems, Canva, and social media
* Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
* Utilizing electronic systems to set up and organize client documents
* Ensuring the accurate management and timely processing of electronic documents
* Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems as needed
