Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Shift: Flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift based on business needs.

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to maintain and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting equipment, and has experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.

Candidates with a strong automotive mechanic background are encouraged to apply, as long as they have the mechanical skills to diagnose and repair equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of mechanical, industrial maintenance, or automotive maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience replacing bearings, belts, chains, motors, and other machine components
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
• Basic understanding of industrial machinery and machine operation
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to work either 1st or 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in plastics manufacturing or plastics processing
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Ability to identify basic PLC-related issues and understand machine operation through PLC controls (PLC programming is not required)
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or equipment manuals
