About the Role:
East Aurora Pediatrics PC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN to join our growing pediatric care team in East Aurora, NY. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a clinical outpatient setting
- Administer medications, vaccines, and immunizations per provider orders
- Conduct patient assessments, vital signs, and document findings in the EMR system
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures
- Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans, follow-ups, and health education
- Triage patient calls and in-office visits, prioritizing urgent care needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Requirements:
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of New York (required)
- Experience in pediatric, primary care, or outpatient clinical nursing preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood immunization schedules and well-child care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pediatric patients and families
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
