Are you ready to make a measurable, systemic impact supporting Vail Communities' Clubhouse services and the individuals we serve throughout our community? Do you want to step into a fast-paced role that functions as a strategic career sprint rather than just a temporary job?

At Vail Communities, we are launching an intensive 6-month pilot initiative designed to optimize, expand, and elevate Clubhouse services. In this position, you will do more than support daily operations—you will play a key role in advancing strategic initiatives that strengthen member engagement, improve service delivery, increase community visibility, and position the program for future growth and sustainability.

This unique opportunity includes direct involvement in community outreach and engagement efforts, mobile and field-based support activities, data health and cleanup initiatives, and other operational projects designed to support pilot objectives and drive meaningful organizational improvements. Working alongside leadership, you will help identify opportunities, implement solutions, and contribute to initiatives that enhance both member experience and operational effectiveness.

Who are we?

Vail Communities is an organization dedicated to serving adults living with severe mental illness, providing a unified point of access and coordination for services. Having served the Twin Cities for more than 45 years, we provide comprehensive support tailored to each individual's unique circumstances and mental health wellness journey.

Guided by the values of dignity & inclusion, opportunity, community, and excellence, we're not just alleviating the burdens of illness — we're fostering wellness and cultivating meaningful connections to ensure every individual can thrive. Join us in rewriting the narrative surrounding mental wellness and embracing a future where recovery is not only possible, but transformative.

What will you do?

In this role, you will build relationships, expand community partnerships, support innovative outreach strategies, improve data quality and reporting processes, and help shape the future of recovery-oriented mental health services. Your work will directly support efforts to increase access, strengthen engagement, improve operational performance, and ensure Clubhouse services remain responsive to the evolving needs of our members and community.

Why Join This Pilot Initiative?

This is more than a temporary position—it's an opportunity to be part of a strategic initiative that will help shape the future of Clubhouse services at Vail Communities. Over the course of this 6-month pilot, you will gain hands-on experience in community outreach, member engagement, mobile support activities, data quality improvement, and operational innovation.

Whether you are looking to expand your skills, build your professional portfolio, explore a career in community mental health, or contribute to a transformative initiative, this position offers a unique opportunity to leave a lasting impact while gaining valuable experience across multiple operational areas.

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS in human services or related area, or BSW with valid and current Social Work licensure, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health or human services.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver’s License, maintain automobile coverage, and have access to an automobile.

We embrace diversity, foster inclusion, and do our work through an equitable lens. Persons of color, women, members of the LGBTQ community, veterans, other minorities, and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
