Position Overview 

A leading Level II Trauma Center in Arizona is seeking two Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologists for premium 24-hour STEMI beeper call coverage beginning September 2026.

This assignment offers inpatient STEMI call coverage only, allowing physicians to focus exclusively on emergency cardiovascular intervention without scheduled clinic responsibilities.

The practice features manageable call volume, Epic EMR, expedited credentialing, and one of the strongest compensation packages currently available for STEMI call coverage.

Provider Compensation: $3,800 per 24-hour call

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage.
• Respond to acute STEMI activations.
• Perform emergency PCI and coronary interventions.
• Evaluate emergency cardiovascular consults.
• Admit and manage acute cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, ICU, and Cardiac Surgery.
• Interpret coronary angiography.
• Complete documentation within Epic.
• Maintain 30-minute response time while on call.

Skills & Experience Required Qualifications

• Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
• Active Arizona Medical License
• ACLS
• BLS
• ABLS
• Epic experience preferred
