Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, neuro/spine, plastics, robotics, vascular, and OB-GYN
• Perform both circulating and scrub roles as required by the surgical schedule
• Support a case mix of approximately 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, and 10% pediatric procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation shared among approximately 15 RNs; on-call shifts are 12 hours (weekday evenings 7 PM–7 AM; weekend/holiday shifts 7 PM–7 AM or 7 AM–7 PM)
• Float to other campuses as needed to support staffing requirements
• Administer blood and blood products, manage drains, epidural pumps, wound vacs, and PICC/central lines and port-a-cath/vascular device access and care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; active compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience with robotic-assisted surgery
• Experience with procedural sedation and blood/blood products administration
• Proficiency with drains, epidural pumps, wound vacs, PICC/central lines, and port-a-cath/vascular device access and care
• Orthopedic/sports medicine experience required; scrub experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• ENT experience with endoscope proficiency strongly preferred
• Scrub experience across multiple surgical specialties (trauma, vascular, robotics) strongly preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
