Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit in an acute inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Wisconsin
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted for this travel assignment)
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components) with a minimum score of 80%; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam; passing criteria must be met within allowable attempts
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills including third-degree heart blocks and pediatric arrhythmias
