Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36-Hour Weekly Guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds
• Demonstrate strong competency in neurological and cardiac assessment and monitoring, with a heavy focus on telemetry
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 on nights, adjusting based on patient acuity
• Float to other Medical Surgical units and ICU to manage Medical Surgical overflow patients as needed
• Collaborate with on-site support staff including telemetry technicians, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs
• Operate within a facility that provides 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy coverage with no IV team on unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with Sunrise Allscripts EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current PALS certification
• Experience in a combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit environment
