Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) or 4x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM); 36/48 alternating or straight 48-hour schedules may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients with telemetry needs, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of up to 6:1
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned by facility leadership
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Ability to start within 3–5 weeks of offer
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated on this unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Background in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing in a high-acuity environment
