Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients throughout the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe delivery outcomes
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform assessments in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the facility's electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Fetal monitoring competency required
• Permanent residence must be located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation in a hospital environment
