Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes (including new diagnoses and complications), palliative, end-of-life, and hospice needs
• Monitor and care for psychiatric observation patients as appropriate
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted; study materials are not provided)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license required at submission to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Background in telemetry or EKG interpretation
