Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 56-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Monitor and assess general Med/Surg Telemetry patients, maintaining patient ratios of 1:5–6 on nights
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Fulfill call shift obligations as required by contract (2 twelve-hour call shifts per 13-week contract)
• Complete all required education modules through the facility's LMS system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to adhere to facility dress code (clean, professional scrubs in any color; no hoodies, graphic shirts, or open-toed shoes)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Experience floating to multiple Med/Surg units in a fast-paced hospital environment
