Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Full-Time | Days (7:00–19:00, 3x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48 hour weekly options | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including management of IV drips required on all floors
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs across multiple units, which may include stepdown, neuro, ortho, oncology, trauma, cardiac, transplant, observation, and community campus units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport, paramedics/swoop, and LPNs where assigned
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to all facility policies including 100% nicotine-free campus requirements and mandatory uniform standards
• Meet weekend and holiday scheduling requirements as defined by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be booked six weeks out)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Ability and willingness to float frequently to various units to meet staffing needs
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred
• Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (may be considered in lieu of standard traveler experience requirements)
• Background in specialty areas such as neuro, oncology, trauma, cardiac, or transplant nursing
