Job Details- Position: X-Ray Technologist
- Location: Ypsilanti
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 5x8
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2100 to $2300
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate digital radiography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Review completed images for quality and accuracy before submitting them for interpretation
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning when necessary
- Perform routine equipment quality assurance checks and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist License, if required by state regulations
- Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray Technologist experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
