CT / X-Ray Technologist
Job Description
The CT / X-Ray Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating CT and X-ray equipment, administering contrast media when appropriate, following radiation safety protocols, maintaining image quality, and collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The technologist is also responsible for documenting procedures and maintaining imaging equipment according to department standards.

- Minimum of 1–2 years of CT and X-ray experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Active Oregon Radiologic Technologist License required.
- Experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations.
- Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
