Position Snapshot
- Location: Must reside in Wichita or Derby, KS / Sedgwick County Kansas (Must own or rent your current home)
- Supporting: You are welcoming an individual with an intellectual disability to move into your home and live with you full-time as a part of your household and family dynamic
- Average Annual Income: Approximately $47,000 (federally tax-free) + Monthly Rent & Household Expenses Contribution

How You'll Make a Difference
Every individual is unique, but your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making.
- Assisting with medication administration and medical appointments.
- Helping someone build connections, participate in their community, and experience a sense of belonging.
- Providing transportation and support with daily activities as needed.
- Maintaining documentation and communication with the Mosaic support team.
- Helping someone build confidence, develop independence, and pursue personal goals.
Depending on the individual's needs, support may also include:
- Assistance with personal care activities
- Behavioral support
- Medical or physical support needs
- Specialized care and monitoring

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- You must be a current resident of the state of Kansas (due to state funding restrictions).
- Own/Rent your own home, apartment, condo, or townhouse
- Active homeowner's or renter's insurance
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance
- Internet access and basic computer skills
- Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training
Experience is preferred but not required.
