Apartment Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to provide essential support at a multifamily community. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards across both apartment homes and community grounds.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while delivering quality maintenance service and ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents.

This position includes a combination of general maintenance work and groundskeeping duties, such as:

• Completing vacant unit turns (make-readies) to prepare apartments for new residents
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs (minor plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.)
• Maintaining and improving the overall condition of common areas and shared spaces
• Conducting groundskeeping tasks, including:
  • Property cleanup and debris removal
  • Maintaining curb appeal and outdoor areas
  • Emptying trash containers throughout the community
• Identifying maintenance needs and ensuring timely resolution
• Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all residents

• Prior experience in apartment maintenance, unit turns, or general maintenance preferred
• Ability to perform a variety of repair and upkeep tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently
• Comfortable performing both indoor maintenance and outdoor groundskeeping duties
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
