Aerotek is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing company located in Heber Springs, AR. These positions are 6 month contract to hire opportunities working a 2-2-3 schedule (day and night shifts) 6:30-6:30. Please apply for immediate consideration.
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all equipment, focusing on CNC Machines. This includes tasks such as starting and shutting down machines, performing corrective and preventative maintenance, welding, pipe fitting, rigging systems, and working with gearboxes and bearings using quality instruments.
Responsibilities
- Receive updates from the previous shift to ensure continuity.
- Monitor and inspect the floor for machines that are not operational as there is no work order system in place.
- Respond to calls and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift about completed tasks and areas needing attention.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems, including Siemens and Fanuc controls.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repair.
- Expertise in electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting, specifically Siemens and Fanuc controls.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Own a basic set of tools.

Work Environment
Work within a climate-controlled machine shop under a 223 schedule with both day and night shifts: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, available in A and B shifts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
