Job Description
We are looking for an organized Office Assistant to support daily test center administrative operations in Asheville, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office environment, handling front-desk communication, and keeping documents and records in order. The assignment is expected to begin as a three-month engagement with the potential to continue based on business needs. The role may be structured as permanent, with flexibility considered depending on operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors professionally and help maintain an efficient, welcoming front office experience.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and relay messages accurately.
• Scan, file, and organize documents to support accessible and well-maintained records.
• Perform routine clerical tasks such as data entry, correspondence support, and general administrative follow-up.
• Assist with daily office coordination to ensure supplies, paperwork, and scheduling needs are handled promptly.
• Support on-site check-in activities by confirming identification and helping visitors follow workplace expectations.
• Track administrative details related to contractor support, including time-related documentation when needed.
• Previous experience in an office assistant, receptionist, or similar administrative support role.
• Ability to manage inbound calls effectively and communicate clearly with visitors and staff.
• Experience handling document scanning, filing, and record organization with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing clerical duties in a fast-paced office setting.
• Proficiency with basic office technology and standard administrative software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented presentation and ability to work on-site in business casual attire when required.
• Availability to work Saturdays is required
