Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Work directly with K-4th grade students in a classroom averaging 19 children, supported by two Ed Techs. If you prefer part-time, an additional part-time Ed Tech will join the classroom. Most students are identified with Specific Learning Disabilities or Other Health Impairments—no emotional disorder caseloads—so you can focus on targeted, individualized academic support and intervention.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Strong commitment to supporting students with learning differences
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work full-time (33.75 hours/week) or part-time (~20 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with Ed Techs and classroom teachers
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Regularly communicate progress to families and staff
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
