Are you looking for steady, stable work? Lake Orion-based clean, well-lit, light industrial manufacturer is looking for an Experienced Inventory Specialist to join their growing team. This is an engineering, manufacturing, and service company specializing in medical devices and gas separation technology. Candidates must have verifiable long-term work history to qualify. Candidates must submit a complete, up-to-date resume to be considered. Some overtime may be required. 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6AM-2PM. Pay is $18.00

Essential duties include:
  • Prepares parts to be delivered to client site based on need and stock level.
  • Completes deliveries to and from both client facilities
  • Help maintain truck preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized.
  • Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Escalates issues to manager and recommends potential solutions.
  • Performs Preventive Maintenance on all equipment at the warehouse.
  • Performs inventory cycle counting daily.
Skills and Attributes:
  1. Ability to lead by example, gain respect from team and communicate clearly across all departments.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organization and problem-solving skills
  3. Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.
Qualified applicants:
  • High school diploma, 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to acquire a Chauffer’s license by completing a DOT physical and test.(folliwing hire on)
  • Must be trained and possess a Fork Truck license
  • Must hold and maintain a good vehicle driving record.
  • Must be able to successfully complete mobile equipment training course.
  • Computer Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, email, inventory, manufacturing software a plus
  • Some lifting up to 35 lbs. is required frequently.
