Requirements MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is looking for 1 Locum Hematology Oncology PA SUMMARY OF WORK: Care of general hematology/oncology patients with support from a physician and an additional APP.No evening or weekend call required.Must be comfortable with both hematology and oncology care with subspecialty support available within the network.Responsibilities include responding to questions from care team members answering patient-related inquiries ordering and following up on labs/imaging maintaining up-to-date medical records and signing chemotherapy orders.Willingness to complete the APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course approximately 25 hours if not previously completed time and course paid.CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS: No procedures required. Must be comfortable caring for hematology and oncology patients. SCHEDULE: 8:00am - 5:00pm 4 days a week No Weekend Coverage No Call Coverage ABOUT THE SITE: Size of practice: One physician and 1 other APP Will locum be working multiple locations: No Does your practice currently have residents/fellows: None What makes your practice unique: Beautiful area to live/work. Length of contract you would like for the locum: 6-months How soon would you like locum to start: ASAC Trauma level: N/A Patient Census per day: 10-12 Patient Demographics: AdultsCERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS: Board Certified. NP or PA acute care certification not required. Must have prior hematology/oncology experience and be comfortable signing chemotherapy orders. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Flight - No first-class flights.Hotel - 200/night lodging cap after taxes and feesRental Car - Standard rental car no premium/SUV etc. rentals.Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate

Schedule Days, 8a-5p (4 days/week = flexible)
