Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autistic Support for a contract assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. This position is based onsite and will provide crucial educational guidance and support to students in a specialized setting. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Educator Certification (PA SPED Educator Cert)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an Autistic Support or similar classroom
• Thorough understanding of IEP development, behavioral strategies, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with families, staff, and therapists
• Patience, compassion, and adaptability in responding to student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Implement evidence-based strategies for students on the autism spectrum
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress in academic, behavioral, and social domains
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and support teams to optimize student learning outcomes
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages engagement and independence
• Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and local regulations

• Assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dates subject to change)
