Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role is for an electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, support production equipment reliability, and help ensure safe and efficient operations across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including inspecting, maintaining, and repairing related components as needed.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose equipment problems and guide repairs.
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and improvements to support production requirements and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and facility equipment, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work orders and respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Follow established safety procedures and best practices while working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage to support ongoing preventive maintenance programs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of two years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience working with hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience working with pneumatic systems.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills, including working safely with controls and motors.
- Experience with mechanical maintenance, including adjustment, repair, and replacement of mechanical components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PLC experience is preferred but not required.
- Exposure to PLCs and controls in an industrial setting.
- Experience working with motors and related electrical controls.
- Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility, working directly with production equipment and industrial systems. You will operate in a hands-on environment that involves mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic technologies. The role typically requires working on the plant floor around machinery, following appropriate safety practices and wearing standard industrial attire and protective equipment as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
