Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Boston, MA
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.80 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing facility maintenance, heavy cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, and equipment support to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment. This role supports daily operations through preventive maintenance, sanitation, building upkeep, and coordination of cleaning and pest control activities

• Perform heavy cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility and grounds
• Maintain safe and clean work areas including walkways, warehouse areas, offices, stairwells, and common spaces
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter changes, motor replacement, and basic equipment repairs
• Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and ice treatment as needed
• Support facility upkeep projects including painting and general building repairs
• Assist with coordinating cleaning and pest control services
• Provide support and operational coverage for facilities functions as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Assist warehouse or office teams with operational support when required
• Communicate maintenance concerns and improvement ideas in a timely manner
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of maintenance, cleaning, or sanitation experience in a facility, warehouse, or industrial environment
• Experience with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) preferred
• Food industry experience is a plus
• Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
• Experience using hand tools and power equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Basic computer skills including email communication required
• Ability to provide professional and dependable service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including bending, climbing, and prolonged standing
