Job Description
Adecco staffing is assisting a local manufacturing company in Amesbury, MA with their search for a Delivery Assistant. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization serving customers throughout New England.
Position Details:
Title: Delivery Assistant
Location: Amesbury, MA
Pay: $26.00–$28.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Hours: 5:00 AM until finish
Responsibilities:
Assist CDL Drivers with deliveries of chemicals, equipment, and materials to customer locations
Load, unload, move, and transport materials safely and efficiently
Support warehouse, plant, and material handling operations
Assist with chemical transfer pumps, hoses, blending equipment, and related operations
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
Communicate delivery updates and customer concerns to supervisors
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or delivery experience preferred
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
OSHA 10, forklift experience, chemical handling, or mechanical aptitude is a plus
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in an industrial environment
U.S. Citizen
Must pass a drug screen, background check, and driving record review
