Job Description
We are seeking skilled Welders proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding techniques to join our dynamic team. As a job shop manufacturer and fabricator, we build high-quality components and assemblies for the energy industry, including heat exchangers, compressor packages, and oilfield processing equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong welding experience and the ability to produce welds that meet AWS standards, working on vessels, headers, skids, platforms, walkways, and other heavy industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and Flux Core welding to create high-quality welds that meet AWS standards.
- Successfully pass a 2G Weld Test including MIG root, Flux Core fill, and Flux Core cap.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Weld carbon steel in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Use measuring tools and perform quality inspections of completed welds.
- Ensure strong attention to safety and workmanship in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Flux Core and MIG welding techniques.
- AWS D1.1 Welding Certification is required.
- At least 1 year of welding experience in a structural shop.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in welding carbon steel in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Skillful use of measuring tools for quality inspections.
- Strong attention to safety and workmanship.

Work Environment
Work during the day shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime past 3:30pm and some Saturdays as needed. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing in a fabrication shop environment. Expect to work around heat, sparks, noise, and industrial equipment in a nonclimate-controlled setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
