Job Title: Carpenter’s Apprentice
Locations:
E/SE: Lakeville, Farmington, Rosemount, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove
Heights
NW Crew – Corcoran, Rogers, St.
Michael, Monticello, Maple Grove
North Crew- Blaine, Lino Lakes,
Dayton areas
SW Crew – Shakopee, Savage,
Victoria, Chaska
Pay: $20-22/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman carpenters with daily exterior carpentry tasks
- Set and install windows and exterior doors
- Apply house wrap to protect exterior wall framing
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and accurately measure materials
- Perform general labor and installation duties
- Work at heights using provided fall protection and safety equipment
- Participate in daily safety meetings and jobsite setup
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ months of construction or general labor experience
- Experience working on ladders with basic ladder safety knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders up to 36 feet
- Proficient with basic hand tools (hammer, square, tape measure, utility knife)
- Own and use a tool belt
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification
- Trade school experience (1 year preferred)
- 3+ years of construction experience
- High school diploma (trade school coursework a plus)

Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, first shift
- Start times between 7:00–7:30 AM
- Year‑round work (no work in negative‑degree conditions)
- New residential construction sites across the Twin Cities metro, including:
- Shakopee, Carver, Victoria, Chaska
- Regular work at heights and on 36‑foot ladders

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waverly, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
