Laborer-General - Now Hiring

Our client, a leader in industrial fabrication and pipe manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting pipe fabrication and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabrication Associate

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard, ensuring safe handling and organization.
• Assemble pipe orders, including single sticks or bundles, maintaining organized work supplies.
• Follow safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe materials.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company procedures.
• Set up and maintain machinery for pipe fabrication, including measuring, cutting, threading, and beveling pipes.

What's Needed?

• 6-8 months of recent experience working with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutters, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.
• 36 Months of experience Operating forklifts.
• Ability to use and understand tape measures and gauges for quality checks.
• Mechanical background with experience in pipe fabrication or related fields preferred.
• Strong math skills for calculating product quantities and measurements.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
