We are seeking a Part-Time (30 hrs per week) Document Control Specialist to join our Quality team at our Lewiston, Maine facility.
This position is responsible for managing quality documentation, administering the company's calibration management program, and maintaining supplier and customer compliance records. Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams, the Document Control Specialist helps ensure the integrity of quality records, supports regulatory compliance, and contributes to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Requirements:Key Responsibilities
• Manage the company's gage calibration program, including scheduling, tracking, record maintenance, and monthly reporting using Gagepack
• Review, organize, and maintain calibration records and quality documentation to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
• Create, revise, and maintain controlled documents, inspection templates, specifications, and quality system records
• Coordinate supplier qualification documentation, certification tracking, and customer quality documentation requests
• Maintain quality records, training documentation, and other departmental administrative files
• Generate quality reports, support Quality Management System updates, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Accurate and timely calibration records and documentation
• Well-maintained quality management documents and controlled records
• Strong supplier documentation compliance and certification tracking
• Timely completion of customer documentation requests
• Organized and audit-ready quality records
• Strong internal customer service and collaboration across departments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with document control, quality systems, calibration programs, or administrative support preferred
• Ability to quickly learn new software and database systems
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or another regulated industry preferred
